Mission Landscape Culture: Meet Our HR Safety and Communication Manager, Angela
A lot of the work that occurs within our company can be seen on the front lines. Working outside on projects such as landscape architecture and landscape maintenance is how most clients view our work. However, a large portion of our success is due to the incredible team we have inside our offices.
During this time, we are considered an essential business. Our team is taking extra precautions and following all CDC guidelines and recommendations to keep ourselves and our clients safe. What initially interested you in working at Mission Landscape?
What interested me in working at Mission Landscape was building up the Human Resources department from the beginning.
Being a team member is a crucial part of our business. Each employee is valued and encouraged to work closely with others to learn from one another.
Why did you stay?
I have always felt welcome, accepted, and respected by my coworkers. They were and still are very nice and willing to help.
As a team, being united is essential. We all depend on each other to get projects done correctly and on time.
Explain the Company Culture in the Office.
Unity. We all have the same goals: Process improvement is everyone’s priority.
From out in the field, to our mechanics in our warehouses, to our accounting department in our corporate offices, we are all in search of processes, technology and products that make our jobs more efficient and days more productive. Each core value is important to implement within our business.

The core value that resonates with me the most is teamwork.
