As Vice President of MLA, Janet leads our highly skilled, multi-discipline design team from initial planning through design development, construction documents, and construction ensuring a successful project for the client and community. Janet brings over 30 years of experience as a proven leader and accomplished designer of complex projects ranging from Residential, Mixed Use, Retail, Office, Institutional, to Recreation developments.

As Vice President, Janet is committed to guaranteeing that MLA exemplifies its Values, Core Beliefs and Philosophy through our detailed Design Process to produce a remarkable project, within budgetary constraints, for the client, community and environment.

JERRI PICK LEED AP

Principal, Director of Design

With a shared passion for both Landscape Architecture and Interior Design, Ms. Pick brings a unique perspective to her role as Principal at MLA. Beginning her career as an interior designer, she came to believe that the integration of interior and exterior spaces should create a cohesive whole much greater than the individual parts. This led her to study Landscape Architecture and eventually change her focus to the larger picture.

In her twenty five years as designer and project manager in both disciplines, including two years in commercial interior landscape design, she has worked with notable clients on high visibility international resort and hospitality projects, retail and office properties, multi and single family residential communities, and senior housing. Her work has included both new construction and extensive reinvestment projects, from design through construction documents and field observation.

With a focus on softscape design, Jerri ensures that MLA’s plant palettes and water-efficient irrigation techniques are aesthetically pleasing, environmentally appropriate and easy to maintain. As LEED AP since 2008, Jerri is dedicated to providing the most innovative and cost effective Green Technology and ideas for the sustainable future of all projects.

TAMARA HARRIS , ASLA

Associate, Studio Manager

As Studio Manager with exceptional organizational skills, Tamara keeps the office running smoothly, making sure all deadlines are met.

In addition, her expertise in state of the art computer graphics and publishing ensure that all deliverables are of the highest quality –informative, creative and professional. Tamara has worked on a broad range of projects from multi-family residential to retail and office properties with an emphasis on the latest outdoor work and gathering spaces.
